Abstract

One of the leading areas of work to highlight significant historical and cultural events for each coming year is the Calendar of Significant and Memorable Dates in the Field of Education and Pedagogical Science, which the library compiles annually and publishes on its web portal. A lot of time is spent annually on the preparation of calendars, therefore, since 2020, the library staff is forming a local factual database "Calendar of significant dates" (DB KZD) in ABIS IRBIS64, which includes information on the history of education and issues of pedagogy.
