Abstract

Information on the concept of "Digital education" and related definitions was analyzed, in particular, such concepts as digitization or digitization, digitalization or digitalization, information sovereignty of the state, informatization project, digital education, digital pedagogy, etc. were defined. Prerequisites for the active implementation of digitization in Ukraine, in particular in Ukrainian education, are determined. The key features of the digitization process are determined and it is shown that it is not only the translation of information into digital form, but a complex solution of an infrastructural, managerial, behavioral, and cultural nature. The review reveals the features of the current state of the regulatory and legal framework regarding digitalization of education in Ukraine. The project of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine "Action. Digital education", which is part of the national project "Action", which envisages the creation of online services of public services.
