Abstract
It is revealed that the utilization of electronic tests in the general secondary education system facilitates objective assessment of students' knowledge, skills, and abilities, while also enabling the analysis of their academic progress dynamics. The application of these tests ensures resource efficiency for educational institutions by reducing expenditures on printed materials and optimizing the assessment process. It is determined that the successful implementation of electronic tests requires comprehensive support, encompassing technical and methodological assistance for teachers, as well as the development of legal frameworks and infrastructure. It is noted that the formulation of specialized methodologies and tools for students with special educational needs is crucial, along with the cultivation of a culture of academic integrity and digital safety. A conclusion is drawn that electronic tests serve as an effective means for internal control and quality assessment of education, yet their successful deployment necessitates a holistic approach and additional efforts from educational institutions and teachers.
