Abstract
The study presents psychophysiological aspects of the use of virtual and augmented reality technologies in the process of exploratory teaching of geometry to students, analyses the relevant factors and indicators of influence. The purpose of the experimental study is to achieve a thorough understanding of the phenomenon of the child's presence and the psychophysiological impact of computer technology in the virtual environment in the process of exploratory teaching of geometry to students. To achieve the research objectives, the experimental platforms "Clever: School of Natural and Mathematical Sciences". Special attention is paid to the identification of risks, difficulties and dangers in the virtual environment in order to highlight important trends for the prospective further intellectual development of children with methodologically motivated use of components of the computer-oriented methodological system of research training (COMSRL) in the process of teaching geometry to students. The classification of research tasks within the experimental study is developed, and accordingly a comparative characterisation is carried out, taking into account the peculiarities of the use of AR/VR in the process of research learning. Special attention is paid to the experimental study of the impact of IVR on the psychophysiological state and the development of children's intelligence. In the course of the study, special attention was paid to the behaviour of the child's sensory system, which has the ability to adapt to the environment. The existence of correlations between children's preferences in the use of IVR and their level of intellectual development was investigated. The necessity of choosing IT to increase the motivation and level of intellectual development of children, which leads to an increase in the effectiveness of research-based teaching of geometry, was established. The results were significant at the level of reliability р<=0,05. The data obtained in the course of the experimental study were used to analyse the most relevant issues in the process of research teaching of students in VR/AR COMSRL geometry lessons.
