Abstract

The psychological workshop aims to prepare children for potential cyber risks they may encounter in the online environment, especially during times of war. The workshop consists of two parts. The first, theoretical part presents the conceptual framework of cyber threats and outlines practical and legal aspects of cybersecurity in both peacetime and wartime. It also describes the concept of military cybersecurity and its key elements (mobile device security, two-factor authentication, software security, social media security, misinformation or fake news, unreliable websites, and links). Significant attention is given to the legal aspects of cybersecurity, regulatory and legal documents governing this field, both in Ukraine and globally. Additionally, the activities of cyberpolice in Ukraine are explained, both during wartime and peacetime. The second part comprises five practical sessions designed for children to reinforce the material presented in the theoretical section. These sessions are intended to create a comprehensive understanding of cyber risks that children may encounter during peacetime and to enhance and expand their knowledge of cyber threats during wartime. Particular emphasis is placed on strategies for combating cyber threats and the development of action plans for critical situations. This workshop is intended for psychologists, psychotherapists, media educators, mediapsychologists, education professionals including teachers and school psychologists, educators in higher education institutions, social workers, students, schoolchildren, and parents.
