Abstract
Today, the ability to effectively interact with patients is seen as an important competency in modern medicine; the doctor's communication skills have a positive effect on the effectiveness of the intervention, build trust, and help avoid mistakes. At the same time, there is a timely social request for psychological support, in particular for patients with special needs regarding additional devices. The relevance of the problem determines the purpose of the article: based on theoretical analysis, to present the historical aspects of the psychological component of medical care, in particular, the problems of establishing interaction between the doctor and the patient, to outline recommendations for medical professionals in working with patients with hearing impairment. The main research methods are defined as: theoretical analysis of literary sources; generalization of the author's practical experience; data analysis regarding the research problem presented using the ChatGPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) chat bot. To fulfill the outlined tasks of the research: the periodization of the history of psychology is presented, approaches and concepts related to the topic are considered; the importance of taking into account the psychological state of the patient, establishing effective interaction between the doctor and the patient, and the formation of professional communication of future doctors has been proven; within the framework of the post-non-classical type of scientific rationality, the data on the problem of the formation of the communicative competence of specialists in the medical field with the help of modern technology - ChatGPT (2022) chat bot, which accumulates the results of scientific research, was analyzed. Based on the results of the generalization, recommendations were determined for medical specialists to improve communication with persons with hearing impairments (use of sign language, consideration of psychological features and individual needs, specifics of auditory perception when using hearing aids, cochlear implants, etc.).
