Abstract

Literary confession contains an element of catharsis, while repentance and repentance are psychotherapeutic in nature, true repentance involves ontological transformation, gathering oneself into an integral person. External control over meanings becomes internal – a report of conscience. There is a distance and a break with the past, there is otherness of being due to moral and volitional impulses that allow you to focus on certain modes of consciousness and strategies of activity. This process is due to the trinity of "be-know-want." Further, the topos of the "road" is outlined as a life path for a new person. The key moment of repentance is the insight associated with the vision of a new path in life. Such a worldview asserts human existence in itself.
