Abstract

The meaning of the theoretical concept "vital competence" as an integrative psychological characteristics of the personality, which determines the productivity of its life, is revealed. The ability of the individual depends on the personality of his / her formation on his own and solve urgent life tasks. Features of the course of cognitive and metacognitive processes of personality cause different configurations of semantic resources of personality (pre-semantic, semantic and metasmlos), which, in turn, determines the basic dimensions of development of vital competence of personality: routine-selective, adaptive, innovative.
