Abstract

Violent interest in the principles and mechanisms of cognitive science that govern the phenomenon of human cognition, which is easily ascertained in modern Ukrainian psychology, is natural. It is connected with the discovery of numerous and meaningful assets of world science, which takes place during the existence of Ukraine as an independent state, which is moving towards an open society. A more important reason is that this movement gradually led to the realization of the need for the existence in the social space of the post-Soviet mentality of the figure of a practical psychologist, as a specialist who must solve very important and unique problems of the existence of an individual, and only he can solve them. Thus, the problem of how knowledge is represented in the human mind is one of the most important in cognitive science. The manual presents the problems of generating knowledge, its storage, processing and transmission. Today, this knowledge can be useful to representatives of various sciences: psychology, philosophy, linguistics, researchers in the field of artificial intelligence. Cognitive science has a number of unsolved questions. In our opinion, only unanswered questions – and perhaps, to which there is no answer in principle – give us inspiration and impetus to research and learn new things.
