Abstract

Assistant practice is an integral part of the educational process. In accordance with the curriculum, students of the second (master's) level of higher education at the Faculty of History undergo assistant practice in the fourth semester. The practice is a logical continuation of the theoretical course "Methodology of teaching history in higher education". Practice takes place on the basis of the departments of the history faculty of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and under the guidance of faculty teachers. Assistant practice provides a combination of theoretical training with practical activities, contributes to the formation of the teacher's professional competencies.
