Abstract

In theses the issue of using the latest teaching aids during the study of Ukrainian literature at school is updated. The psychological-pedagogical and methodical bases of students' perception of fiction are considered. It has been proven that the use of interesting and relevant materials in the process of teaching Ukrainian literature in the 5th-6th grades of NUS diversifies the educational process, contributes to the development of reading and key competencies of students, the formation of permanent interest in reading literary works, as well as acquaintance with other types of art, develop digital and media literacy of the new generation of schoolchildren.
