Abstract
Communication and learning using the Internet attracts the opportunity to construct and transform your virtual personality. On the one hand, the Internet gives freedom of identification: virtual name, virtual body, virtual status, virtual psyche, virtual habits, virtual advantages and virtual disadvantages, on the other hand - loss/alienation of real body, status, etc. The Internet is becoming a means of transformation of personality both as an individual and personality as a socio-cultural and historical phenomenon. Such personality attributes as stable self-identification, individual style of performing social roles ("creative individuality") are lost by active Internet users, consciously or unconsciously they form a blurred or changing identity. Thus, the Internet becomes an important means of creating a society in which information and communications become the main factor in changing various spheres of society, including educational transformations, changes in the possibilities of perceiving and perceiving educational information.
