Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis, prevention and overcoming of PTSD manifestations in citizens in the conditions of a full-scale war sparked by Russia against Ukraine. It is emphasized that it is important to know information about the signs and the possibility of the development of PTSD in order to notice the manifestations of a psycho-emotional disorder at an early stage and provide a person with psychological support in time. Special attention is paid to distinguishing and studying a number of additional manifestations of PTSD as less researched than the main characteristics of this disorder. The following personal manifestations are outlined, which are not the main indicators of PTSD in the scientifically accepted sense, but are such that can influence its occurrence, degree of manifestation, course, namely low level of compliance with the pressures, credibility, autonomy, externality. Attention is focused on the interrelationships between the identified additional manifestations of PTSD, on the importance of processing these manifestations in order to overcome the consequences of psychological trauma as a whole. The technology of psychological support to a person affected by the war, who has identified certain individual prerequisites or signs of post-traumatic stress disorder, and expressed the need for support from a psychologist, is presented and argued. Certain stages and directions of work within the proposed technology are prescribed. A specific example of working out low compliance with the pressures as an additional manifestation of PTSD of a traumatized person is demonstrated; the resource value of directly such subjective personality qualities as internality, autonomy, credibility in solving the issue of compliance with the pressures development is shown. The prospects of scientific research are determined, which consists in the development and detailed description of the technology of psychological support to victims of traumatic events, aimed at strengthening personal subject characteristics - compliance with the pressures, credibility, internality, autonomy, as such, which can contribute to the prejudice or weakening of post-traumatic stress disorder.
