Abstract
The vocational (professional) education system is aimed at training a new generation of qualified, competent and competitive personnel in the conditions of the war and the post-war reconstruction of the country. At the same time, the quality of student’s training does not meet the requirements of modern production, the market economy and the professional qualifications, competencies, skills, and abilities demanded in the labour market. Therefore, there is an objective need to take into account socio-economic challenges, demands of the global and domestic labour market for new competencies, qualifications and transforming them into competency-oriented models, educational programmes (in particular, short-term) of professional training of specialists, retraining and professional development of production personnel, training of unemployed citizens, etc. The research presents the experience of Bila Tserkva Institute of Continuous Professional Education, SHEI «University of Education Management» of NAES of Ukraine as for the preparation of competitive human capital for high-tech and innovative development of the country, ensuring the needs of society, the labour market and the state in qualified specialists. An effective, integrative and multi-level system of scientific and methodological support for the continuous professional development of specialists following the goals and priorities of the state educational policy, the requirements of employers and key stakeholders is substantiated. The information and resource, organisational and methodical and scientific support of training and professional development of specialists during the period of the war is described.
