Abstract

The author, based on the results of the study of current regulatory and legal documents, research of scientists, found out that the digital competence of the future teacher of pedagogical education should be considered as requirements for the adequate (critical, meaningful, responsible) application of digital skills in the appropriate context (educational, scientific, innovative activity; assessment of learning outcomes of education seekers and self-assessment; personal and professional development), covering the performance of functions related to pedagogical activity (technical, technological, organizational, social, etc.) with observance of moral and ethical values.
