Abstract

The monograph is devoted to the main issues of creating and developing web-based learning environments of universities with functions of knowledge-oriented information exchange using the latest communication tools of social software. The suggested model of the web-based learning environment combines both asynchronous social software tools, where communication takes place in the relevant forums and subforums in an asynchronous mode, and synchronous tools that provide live personal communication in real time. For scientists, teachers and students of higher education institutions, specialists in the fields of information activities and information technologies, whose work is related to the use of the latest digital technologies.
