Abstract
Methodological recommendations are devoted to the use of augmented and virtual reality tools in the educational environment of general secondary education institutions. The methodical recommendations present approaches to the formation of an educational environment highlight the historical aspects of the development of virtual and augmented reality; substantiate the peculiarities of the introduction of innovative technologies into the teacher’s educational practice. Recommendations are provided for the use of AR and VR tools and software in the educational process. The main provisions regarding the organization of research training and safe, pedagogically balanced application during the training of students of different age categories are revealed. It can be used in the system of general secondary education by teachers, postgraduate pedagogical education by teachers of institutions of higher education, institutions that train future teachers, graduate students and scientists, who are investigating similar problems.
