Abstract

The methodological manual outlines the theoretical and practical foundations of civilian psychologists providing psychological assistance to service members, veterans and their family members. Features of psychological counselling of service members and veterans who have suffered as a result of traumatic events, in particular, with severe consequences of combat wounds and those released from captivity, as well as features of consulting work with family members of service members are disclosed. The methodical manual can be used in the work of civilian and military psychologists, representatives of public and volunteer organizations and other persons involved in psychological and socio-psychological assistance.
