Abstract

The information about the Ivan Ziaziun Institute of Pedagogical and Adult Education of NAES of Ukraine staff members and dynamics of change over the reporting period is provided in the report. The results of scientific and organizational activity of Institute according to five substantiated criteria (participation in the development of education legislative and regulatory acts; participation in state education policy implementation; international cooperation; scientific consulting; social networking activity) with relevant indicators manifested on three levels (state, academic, institutional) are presented. The findings of experimental work over the reporting period are submitted and the planned scientific works prepared for implementation are reported; the rate of scientific papers published in foreign publications (13.6 %), in foreign languages (7 %) and indexed in Scopus and Web of Science Core Collection (about 5 %) is specified. The reporter reveals the importance of Adult Education Centre activity and its departments working in the Institute; analyses the outcomes of cooperation with higher education institutions and the UNESCO Chair activity on “Continuous professional education of the XXI century” as well as Young Scientists Council activity with its mission “science in action”. The spheres in the activity that may require more attention are determined and prospects for the Institute’s development are introduced.
