Abstract

The paper analyzes existing problems of evaluating the effectiveness of scientific activity in the European scientific and educational space. Various approaches have been implemented in European countries and many years of experience have been gained in evaluating the effectiveness of scientific research, which is useful to take into account for the development of the domestic national system of indicators used to solve this problem. Involvement in participation in the European coalition of organizations and discussion of the basic principles and signing of the Agreement on reforming evaluation in the field of science is an invaluable experience for scientific organizations of Ukraine, the goal of which is the implementation of the best global practices in their activities, as well as integration into the global scientific space.
