Designing a cloud-oriented methodical system for improving the qualifications of teachers of natural and mathematical subjects for work in a scientific lyceum. – Qualifying scientific work on the rights of manuscripts. Annotation content. Today, teaching staff have the opportunity to improve their teaching skills not only at face-to-face professional development courses. Distance training courses and specialized services and resources provide this opportunity. The organization and practical implementation of training and professional development of teachers can be implemented with the means of cloud-oriented systems of open science. The use of tools of cloud-oriented systems of open science will contribute to a higher degree of scientificity in the teaching of natural and mathematical subjects, which is a significant advantage for teachers of scientific lyceums. The current state of pedagogical research by Ukrainian scientists regarding the use and implementation of cloud-based educational systems is analyzed. The peculiarities of the training of teachers in the countries of Western Europe are considered. The main directions of pedagogical training of teachers in Western European countries are summarized, in particular: a combination of special, general education, psychological-pedagogical and practical training in the aspect of using cloud-oriented systems in science teacher education. The conducted research is aimed at the development of cloud-oriented informatization systems of educational institutions in the conditions of education reform, methodological, scientific-methodical, and organizational support for the use of computer technologies. An analysis of the state of development of the research problem of the use of cloud-oriented methodical systems in the process of improving the qualifications of teachers of natural and mathematical subjects for work in a scientific lyceum was carried out. The conceptual apparatus is highlighted, and the content of the main concepts related to the use of cloud-oriented methodical systems in the process of teacher training is clarified. As a result of the study of psychological and pedagogical literature, the degree of development of the problem in the domestic and foreign educational space was revealed. It has been established that with the emergence of new types of specialized education institutions, additional demands are placed on teachers to work in these institutions, which leads to the need to develop and introduce into the educational process methodical teaching systems based on the use of the latest cloud-oriented platforms, means and services for supporting scientific research in an open educational and scientific space. The combination of open science and cloud technologies opens up new perspectives for their use in the education and professional development of teachers. The general method of researching the problem of developing the theoretical and methodological foundations of the design of cloud-oriented methodical systems for improving the qualifications of teachers of natural and mathematical subjects for work in a scientific lyceum is presented, which is the key to the training of ICT competent professionals, highly qualified pedagogical staff for modern education. The tasks of the pedagogical experiment and the basis of research and experimental work are specified. A detailed description of each stage of the experiment is given. The paper considers the design models of a cloud-oriented system and analyzes the Ukrainian and foreign experiences of modelling cloud-oriented systems. The structure of cloud-oriented system design models was studied, and the key blocks were considered. Depending on the set goal of the model, its structure is formed. The basis for further design will be the main types of activities: implementation of methods, preparation of manuscripts of articles and theses of reports, participation in mass scientific and practical events, professional development, and scientific and information activities. The main activities of a scientist and a teacher are compared. Certain types of activities that are common to both a scientist and a teacher are defined. A detailed description of each type of activity was made, which, possibly, will be the specifics of teacher training for work in a scientific lyceum in the future. The available classifications of electronic educational resources, in particular cloud-oriented systems, are considered. The classification of electronic computing resources of the cloud-oriented system of improving the qualifications of teachers of natural and mathematical subjects for work in a scientific lyceum was carried out. Depending on the chosen classification, the selection of electronic educational resources was carried out to create a model of a cloud-oriented methodical system for improving the qualifications of teachers of natural and mathematical subjects for work in a scientific lyceum. As a result of the study, it was found that almost every type of electronic educational resource can be used in at least two types of activities: implementation of methods, preparation of manuscripts of articles and report abstracts. The specified list of electronic educational resources is the basis of the cloud-oriented methodical system model. Based on the conducted research, a model of the main types of activities of the subjects of the cloud-oriented methodical system of improving the qualifications of teachers of natural and mathematical subjects for work in a scientific lyceum was developed and substantiated. The stages of designing a cloud-oriented system for improving the qualifications of teachers of natural and mathematical subjects for work in a scientific lyceum have been clarified. The general model of the cloud-oriented methodical system of improving the qualifications of teachers of natural and mathematical subjects for work in a scientific lyceum is substantiated, which contains the following components: goal, methodical system (basic method, specialized and advanced), the competence of open science, base and result. The competence of open science in a broad sense and as a component of the professional competencies of a teacher of natural and mathematical subjects for work in a scientific lyceum is considered. The main components of open science competence were identified and found to be divided into four categories: – skills and experience required for open access publishing; – skills and experience in research data, data production, management, analysis / use / reuse, dissemination and the paradigm shift from «protected data by default» to «open data by default» while complying with legal and other constraints; – skills and work experience in one's own scientific and disciplinary community and outside it; – skills and expertise arising from a general and broad conception of science as researchers interact with the wider public to enhance the impact of science and research. Among the categories of open science competence, the following were established: – open access publication competence (library and research information skills, literacy skills in open publications); – data management and open data competencies (technical skills, skills in the field of information technologies); – professional research competencies (research management skills, legal skills, research integrity skills, and ethical skills); – general social competences. Ways of mastering competence in open science are proposed: through competitiveness and cooperation; use of open science cloud services; use and reuse of open data; implementation of the principles of open science not only among scientists but also in the field of education. A cloud-oriented methodological system for improving the qualifications of teachers of natural and mathematical subjects for work in a scientific lyceum has been substantiated and developed, which includes: the method of using cloud services of open science in the educational environment of the school (basic method); method of using cloud services of open science for teachers of natural and mathematical subjects in scientific lyceum (specialized method); method of using EOSC cloud services for teachers of science and mathematics subjects in the scientific lyceum in the graduating class (in-depth method). An analysis of the results of the pedagogical experiment is provided. As a result of the analysis of recent studies and publications, it was found that scientists have sufficiently considered the problem of reforming teacher training courses. The design of cloud-oriented systems is a separate issue in Ukrainian studies, but the proposed systems relate exclusively to certain specialities or have a completely scientific direction. Currently, there is no cloud-oriented system that would become a tool in the further training of teachers of natural and mathematical subjects to work in a scientific lyceum. The analysis of the conducted survey showed that the majority of teachers recognize the need for scientific lyceum teachers in scientific activities. The majority of respondents do not use English-language resources and services due to a low level of language proficiency. It was found that one of the most important ways of involvement in scientific activity, according to mathematics teachers, is participation in scientific conferences. Regarding the implementation and use of research results, teachers plan to choose the following ways: publication of methodical materials and independent implementation. The analysis of the results of the survey of educators showed that among the respondents, 574 people (69.7 %) prefer to use information and communication technologies on a local computer. The analysis of the results of the ascertaining stage of the pedagogical experiment shows that there is a problem with improving the qualifications of teachers of natural and mathematical subjects for work in a scientific lyceum, which needs solutions through preliminary testing and implementation of a specially created cloud-oriented methodical system. To clarify the state of formation of competence in open science and evaluate the effectiveness of using a cloud-based methodical system for improving the qualifications of teachers of natural and mathematical subjects for work in a scientific lyceum, ascertaining sections of the following components were performed: skills and experience of work in their disciplinary community and outside it; skills and experience in data research, management, analysis / use / reuse, dissemination. The goal of the formative stage of the study was to check the effectiveness of the cloud-based methodical system of improving the qualifications of teachers of natural and mathematical subjects for work in a scientific lyceum and to compare the levels of formation of individual components of competence in open science of experimental and control groups. Analyzing the results obtained after the formative experiment, it was concluded that the use of a cloud-oriented methodical system for improving the qualifications of teachers of natural and mathematical subjects for work in a scientific lyceum led to an increase in certain components of open science competence among educators. According to the statistical processing of the obtained results, the characteristics of the experimental and control groups before the start of the experiment correspond to the significance level of 0.05, and, at the same time, the reliability of the differences in the characteristics of the experimental and control groups after the experiment is equal to 95 %. It can be concluded that the application of a cloud-oriented methodical system for improving the qualifications of teachers of natural and mathematical subjects for work in a scientific lyceum leads to statistically significant differences in the results of measuring competence in open science.
