Abstract

The study aims at reviewing the specifics of reforming the research assessment in the European Research Area and determining prospects for Ukraine. It is considered promising for Ukraine to join the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment by the Ukrainian research institutions and higher education institutions; reflect the principles and core commitments provided by the Agreement on Reforming Research Assessment in regulatory and legal documents, and implement them into research and educational practice at the national and institutional levels to comply with modern trends in assessment and achieve research excellence under the Open Science.
