Abstract
The development of the information society involves the introduction of digital information technologies into all spheres of life, but this also means the emergence of new security threats. Among all security components, a new and at the same time complex security element has appeared - cyber security. Cybersecurity is the process of applying security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data. Cyber threats exist everywhere where information technology is used, therefore, in his professional activity, a teacher may encounter spam, viruses, computer hacking and many other problems that need not only to respond promptly, but also to be able to prevent their occurrence. which means to constantly mention various aspects of information security organization in the context of the lesson. The teacher must have an idea of the current level of development of information digital technologies. The relevance of the course is determined by the need to create additional motivation for the students of the course to study information security issues. Cyber security is the most urgent problem of our time. And all digital users are doing everything they can to prevent leaks of sensitive data and reduce potential risks. The purpose of the course is to provide students with the knowledge, abilities, skills and experience that characterize the stages of competence formation in the field of the digital economy and the development of digital literacy of participants in the educational process, as well as the development of professional competence in the field of information security (cyber security). The electronic course is intended for teaching staff of vocational education institutions.
