Abstract
The article reveals the essence of the algorithm of the country’s civilizational subjectivity in the context of educational and scientific potential. It has been proven that individual efforts of domestic politicians and political experts to give the state the role of a subject are doomed to foreign policy populism, as they do not take into account the insufficiency of all kinds of resources and the psychology of the domestic elite. It is not by chance that during the period of independence, Ukraine tried to fit into other people’s projects, trying to preserve its own space for political maneuvers and to get as much economic profit as possible from strong geopolitical players: which indicates a low level of subjectivity. Today, it is strategically important to assert Ukraine in the context of a civilizational subject of creating new models of sustainable development of the country (management, economic, security), creating irreversible algorithms for the original development of the state, which to some extent depends on education and science, large-scale technological and innovative acceleration. It is shown that education and science are an important factor in the civilizational subjectivity of the country, its own identity and sovereign will. States become strong, original players on the geopolitical field thanks to education, science and innovative economy.
