Abstract

The author analyzed the materials of the meeting in Cape Town (September 2007), based on the results of which the ways of development of open resources, technologies and methods were determined teaching in the field of education. it is emphasized that this initiative is based on the principles of: new pedagogy based on the interaction of teachers and students in creating new knowledge; the belief that everyone should be free to use, adjustment, improvement and redistribution of educational resources; unification in the worldwide movement of accessible, high-quality and effective education.
