Abstract
The article presents the concept of using media texts in Ukrainian literature textbooks for the adaptation cycle of general secondary education. General didactic approaches to the use of media educational resources in the educational process of general secondary education institutions are analyzed. It was determined that the educational achievements of students in the linguistic and literary field are evaluated when working with various types of textbook texts, in particular with media texts. It is noted that in the process of studying Ukrainian literature, the educational tasks of the textbook provide for an integrated approach to the analysis of literary works and media texts. Some of the auxiliary media texts are placed in the sections of the digital supplement to the textbooks of Ukrainian literature. The main media texts are integrated with the methodological apparatus of the textbook or presented as illustrations of literary works. The stages of working with different types of media texts according to Ukrainian literature textbooks for grades 5-6, which are being tested in the pilot of the New Ukrainian School, are described. It is demonstrated how the stages of working with media texts according to the textbook are integrated with the stages of studying the texts of literary works or sequence is built by analogy to them. In the process of approbation of the textbook of Ukrainian literature in the pilot 5 classes of the New Ukrainian School, it was proven that integration of media texts into the educational tasks of the textbook modernizes its content, expands cognitive capabilities, creates space for independent reading and understanding of literary works in relationships with modern information, thematically related associated with them. It has been proven that the use of media texts contributes to the deepened perception and individual interpretation of literary works by students, and is an effective way of realizing the competence potential of Ukrainian literature.
