Abstract
The theses highlighted the relevance and practical significance of the problem of creating health-preserving educational technologies that would not only preserve, but also improve the health of schoolchildren, the purpose of such technologies was considered. The definition of the concept of "health-preserving competencies" is given, the main directions of work on the formation of health-preserving competence of students are listed, the importance of introducing health-preserving technologies into the educational process of primary school is revealed.
