Abstract

The main directions of the institute’s activities as a research institution are analysed. It provides scientific and methodological support for modernising vocational and vocational pre-tertiary education, systematically implementing the principles of predictability, academic freedom, integrity and student-centeredness. The basic and applied scientific studies performed at the institute, and pedagogical and methodical systems, concepts, methods, techniques, technologies, etc. implemented in the vocational and vocational pre-tertiary education institutions, are characterised. Innovative educational activities carried out under the guidance of the institute’s researchers are presented. The results of preparing highly qualified personnel for vocational, vocational pre-tertiary and higher education institutions in PhD and DSc studies are revealed. The development of publishing, information and analytical, expert, project activities and international scientific relations are enlightened.
