Abstract

In the information society, the main source of existence, functioning and development, the main driving force of progressive transformations will be the knowledge and information that mankind has accumulated and will continue to acquire and accumulate, and which will be effectively used by practically all subsystems of society to solve their everyday and perspective tasks and problems. One of the subjects of solving this problem is the system of professional and technical education, which should create optimal conditions for the comprehensive provision of information needs and improvement of the realization of the rights of Ukrainian citizens in professional and professional knowledge and information. The main goal of the system of professional and technical education in the information society is multifactorial and includes a number of goals, one of which is the training of students of the system of professional and technical education in the distance form of education.
