Abstract
The thesis examines the problem of the interactive textbook as an innovative trend in the digitalization of education in the United States. It was established that textbooks are an integral part of the school process, quality education is impossible without a quality textbook. It was determined that the fundamental difference between an interactive textbook and a static one (paper or digital) is that its content is not constant, but can change and be formed depending on the wishes of the user. Considered several platforms that American teachers and students can use to create digital books (iBooks) and interactive digital textbooks.
