Abstract

The article stated that the career development of researchers is the basis of science, so the study of international experience in this field, in particular support of the scientists engaged in projects and programmes, providing grants, the development of high-tech sector is essential. The current labour market requires professionals are to have profound theoretical knowledge, ability and desire to apply their knowledge and generate new ideas in practice. The integration of the science and higher education of Ukraine to the European Union countries opens many possibilities for researchers, including visa-free travel, participation in international programmes and projects, ensure progression on the career ladder. EU Policy initiatives is now focused on the progress of research and innovation. Besides creation and development of networks EURAXESS; Human resources development strategy for researchers (based on the Charter and Code principles of innovative doctoral training and research support); European supplementary pension fund for researchers, mobility. The Commission addresses problems concerning academic research, a fund to set standards for training academics developing, attractive employment conditions and opening a set for all EU-researchers. The priority for Ukraine is learning through research, development of research competence, creation of modern information and financial security in higher education or research institutions for the further integration of Ukraine into the international educational space and cooperation in ERA.
