Abstract

The article considers challenges in educational and scientific activities in Ukraine under martial law and the work of researchers of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine in overcoming them. The following new areas of work are identified: scientific and methodological support for the educational process in war conditions; organisational, informational and volunteer activities; remote communication work, which expanded and coordinated the statutory tasks of the institution’s activities. Researchers of the Institute provide scientific and methodological support for training: conduct online lessons, develop educational and methodological materials for distance learning, monitor educational losses and develop recommendations for their compensation, provide assistance in organising the educational process of Ukrainian students abroad, make changes to regulatory documents and develop new ones on the safety and preservation of life, cooperate with international scientific and educational organisations in the information resistance to russian aggression. Providing educational and scientific activities during the war is the other front of the struggle for Ukrainians.
