Some aspects of analysis of pedagogical publications in German from the collection of rare publications are considered, which became the source base for compiling a scientific and auxiliary bibliographic Index «Pedagogical publications in German in the second half of the Nineteenth century. – 1917 in the Fund of the V. O. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine».
