Abstract

The theses present an analysis of the use of QR codes in foreign literature textbooks that were submitted to the MEU competition, an understanding of its main principles and expediency. This interactive technology provides the possibility of placing a large amount of information, media products, quick and convenient access to coded educational materials, helps to optimize the educational process, diversify it, and helps to increase the motivation of students to study. It was concluded that the main problematic issues in the use of QR-codes are incomplete compliance with the principle of systematicity, methodical expediency, their fragmentary use, actualization of the primarily illustrative function of the materials posted with the help of QR-codes. The issue of copyright compliance remains relevant in the event that the media product is used not in fragments, but in its entirety (trailers, films, cartoons). It is also timely to experimentally check the effectiveness of the use of educational materials placed with the help of QR codes in the process of forming the key competencies of students.
