Abstract
The scientific sources of psychological and pedagogical and methodological direction on the theme «Education: the ways of spiritual and value development and teacher identity professional formation in a professional activity» for the period 2017–2021 are analyzed. The review presents the results of research of the scientists of the institutes of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine on the outlined scientific and pedagogical problem that were included in the contents of the fact sheet «Analytical Bulletin of Education and Science» (Ed. 15, 2022). Given the conditions of martial law and heroic confrontation with the Russian aggressor it is specified that youth spiritual and value orientations is a priority for Ukrainian society, an important task of educational process which is especially relevant now when Ukraine is defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity, asserts its own national interests, demonstrating to the world the best features of spiritual and value development acquired during the independence of our state. The position that the teacher preparation and professional development is first and foremost his/her personality formation with civic and moral qualities, responsible for actions for what the best spiritual and value priorities as the basic of the civic position of the individual, citizen and patriot of the his/her country is an integral part of the educational process carried out in the system of national education.
