Abstract

The review presented theoretical and practical experience of development of a multifaceted problem of national patriotic education on the theme «National patriotic education: development vectors in educational area» for the period 2017–2021. The range of the final scientific and practical results of the research of the scientists of the institutes of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine on the outlined problem is summarized. On the basis of the analysis of documents and materials it is concluded that the system of national patriotic education is the one of the main activities of the state and Ukrainian society educational sphere of the formation and development of national consciousness on the basis of social and state values, fostering a sense of patriotism among citizens, respect for the Constitution and laws of the Ukraine, readiness to perform duties to protect the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
