Abstract

Socio-economic processes, modernization, and educational challenges require teachers of a new formation: competent, motivated, qualified, who have academic freedom and develops professionally throughout life, independently and creatively obtains information, and organizes the learning process as close as possible to the needs, needs, and life plans of the younger generation. In order to address topical issues of professional development of teachers of the New Ukrainian school in the introduction of STEM education, providing academic freedoms and their right to professional development is held annually "STEM-school". The collection is the result of the cooperation of scientific and pedagogical staff of the STEM-education department of the Institute of Modernization of Educational Content, Department of Open Educational Systems and Information and Communication Technologies of the University of Education Management, and publishing house VD Osvita on the professional development of teachers. STEM education. The collection includes materials-appendices to the presentation videos of the speakers of the winter-summer distance session, which took place in 2021. The materials cover scientific-theoretical, practical aspects of the development of STEM education; methodological approaches to design, and research activities. The authors offer you practical cases: the development of STEM projects, STEM lessons, and STEM activities. The publication is recommended for scientists, teachers, and heads of methodological services of all parts of the education system, organizers of postgraduate pedagogical education, students of advanced training courses for teachers, as well as anyone interested in the development of STEM education. The materials are submitted in the author's edition (stylistics, spelling, and language are preserved). The authors of the published materials are responsible for the accuracy of the facts, quotations, references, etc.
