Abstract

The manual systematizes and presents in a convenient form enough relevant and promising knowledge on the basics of research and practical advice on its implementation for students who receive education in science, participate in competitive programs of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, research, and engineering projects, etc. The manual forms an understanding of the methodology of scientific knowledge, helps to master the skills of scientific and engineering research, design, and presentation of research results, provides answers to questions of career guidance and motivation in the scientific field, focuses on methods of self-knowledge and self-development. It is intended for use in specialized educational institutions, including scientific lyceums and boarding schools, general secondary education institutions, based on which there are research associations of students, out-of-school educational institutions that provide scientific education, the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine National Center, and institutions under its coordination. For students, teachers, leaders of scientific clubs, methodologists, students of pedagogical institutions of higher education, as well as for all those who are interested in scientific education of young people.
