Abstract

The article presents a consideration of the current problem - the existential fears of adolescents. The results of the study made it possible to see which fears are the most common and problematic for modern adolescents. A hierarchy of current fears was identified, and the level of existential fears in boys and girls was compared. The observational experiment confirmed the assumption that most of the existential fears of modern man are related to life in society.The most important areas for children in which they are manifested, as well as factors that increase fear in modern adolescents, were identified. Our respondents had the strongest fears that reflect the problems of modern society: fear of war and fear of disease.As a result of the ascertaining experiment the peculiarities of existential fears and their manifestations in modern teenagers are investigated. The purpose and tasks of psycho-correctional work with older adolescents are determined
