Abstract

In Sweden, entrepreneurship education has long been part of the education system, and since 1994, primary and secondary schools have been taught in new curricula that address the need to develop students' entrepreneurial competence. The definition of entrepreneurship in the Swedish education system is based on the 1989 OECD report, which provides two definitions of entrepreneurship. The first definition is the connection of entrepreneurship with the creation of the company and support of its work, and the second recognizes such qualities and competencies as: flexibility, creativity, ability to solve problems and so on. Sweden has adopted a second definition and based on it has developed and approved the following definition of entrepreneurship: “Entrepreneurship is a dynamic social process in which people, alone or together with others, find opportunities and turn them into practical, goal-oriented work in social , cultural and economic conditions ".
