Abstract

The vision, mission, and key features of the President University are presented; its activities will be focused on implementing effective education strategies to realize the intellectual and creative potential of Ukrainian citizens, that will provide training for leaders in strategic fields of state development, ready for the challenges of today’s changing world. The strategic goals for realizing the university activities as a modern innovative educational and research center are given. The comparative conceptual characteristics of the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), and the future President University are enlightened. The risks are listed which are caused by lack of legislation, the university’s special status, the complexity of competitive conditions with top Ukrainian universities.
