Abstract
The article is devoted to the current problem of development of digital competence of pedagogical workers of vocational education institutions through improvement and acquisition of skills and abilities of confident, critical and responsible use and interaction with digital technologies for education; raising awareness of the basic concepts of digitalization, as well as the acquisition of digital literacy and culture skills; work and participation in the modern information society; construction of an individual trajectory of development of digital competence of pedagogical workers in the conditions of digitalization of society. The essence of the concepts "digital competence of a teacher", "lifelong learning", "professional development" is revealed. The article examines the experience of the European community in the formation and improvement of digital competence. Analyzed the National digital transformations in the education. Presented the results of research work "Development of digital competence of pedagogical staff of vocational education by means of information and communication technologies". Clarified the current state and trends in the use of digital learning technologies in vocational education; determined the components and characteristics of the main components of digital competence of pedagogical workers of vocational education, levels and criteria for assessing the formation of digital competence of pedagogical workers of vocational education; substantiated organizational and methodological conditions for the formation of digital competence of teachers; developed the professionally-oriented model of development of digital competence of teachers of vocational education; presented the methodical recommendations on formation and development of digital competence of pedagogical workers, results of monitoring and diagnostics of results of introduction of model of development of digital competence of pedagogical workers of vocational education.
