Abstract

The main directions of the сhinese educational policy at the present stage are described. It is concluded that the strategic principles of education development in China are determined global trends, but have national specifics and take into account regional characteristics. Chinese society today sees education and its quality as an essential condition for effective orientation in new social, political and economic situations, successful careers, and quality of life.
