Abstract

The issue of preparation of students for basic secondary education (gymnasium) for the state final certification in the form of external independent assessment is covered. It was found that one of the effective means of solving the issue of organizing the systematic preparation of students for the state final certification in the form of external independent assessment can be a school textbook. The results of the analysis of school textbooks in history, biology and physics for the 9th grade of Ukraine and CIS countries from the standpoint of placing in them tasks for the formation and assessment of subject and key competencies and tasks in the format of external independent assessment.
