Abstract

Self-trust is considered in the article as a subject quality which defines development and personal development of a person and also considerably influences their attitude to the media information. It is highlighted that dialogue-based interaction between a psychiatrist and a client plays a part in a person's ability to trust themselves while reading various texts.The article focuses attention on the necessity of creating a technique of psychological help to media and internet publications consumers. The main components of the future technique are presented, which involve the work on mastering knowledge on possible manipulative text traps, "keys" to distinguishing and strategies to deal with them, which is dwelled upon in "Notice for the readers of mediatexts".
