Abstract
The period of adaptation of a child to school is very important for his development as a person. At this stage, the teacher is required to pay maximum attention to the child, his inner world, and the parents' approval, support and empathy. It should be borne in mind that the child begins to face new life situations and his reaction to them is dominant in the formation of the nature and subsequent quality of learning. A competent and individual approach to the child in this critical period is the key to a successful completion of the period of the child's adaptation to school, good behavior and successful learning.
