Abstract

Theoretical and practical material on the topic Quadratic equations and inequalities with parameters of the discipline Mathematics for students of preparatory courses of pre-university training and entrants to higher educational institutions is presented. Examples of different types of problems with parameters (finding the signs of the real roots of a quadratic equation; the relative position of the roots of two quadratic trinomials; placement of the roots of a quadratic equation relative to a segment or interval; solving quadratic inequalities with coefficients depending on the parameter) and their rational solutions.
