Abstract

This collection presents the materials on the Interdisciplinary Scientific Seminar “War-Generated Communities as Social Donors and Recipients”, which took place on March 25, 2021 by the initiative of the Department of Social Psychology, Institute for Sociology, NAS of Ukraine, and the Laboratory of Social Psychology of Personality, Institute for Social and Political Psychology, NAES of Ukraine. The topical problems of the communities caused by the hybrid war in Ukraine – veterans, volunteers, migrants – are considered. Possibilities of changing the recipient position of these communities to donor ones are outlined. The agent influence of the post-Maidan volunteer movement on social transformations is described. Peculiarities of post-traumatic life construction in military communities are highlighted. Ethical, adaptive, temporal problems of internally displaced persons are studied. Attention is paid to the mass perception of post-traumatic stress disorder. An overview of personal losses during the COVID-19 pandemic is presented. Ways of socio-psychological help and support of the person in peace expectation’s conditions are offered. The collection is addressed to scientists, graduate students, students of psychological and sociological specialties, practical psychologists, sociologists, social workers, volunteers, as well as anyone interested in the state of research on communities that emerged during the hybrid war in Ukraine.
