Abstract
The main difference between an online classroom and a traditional learning environment is the lack of personal contact between participants. To compensate for this lack of physical presence, interaction takes on additional significance. The article reveals conceptual ideas for cognitive interaction between teacher and adult learner in online learning. This study investigated the relationship between teaching methods and teaching the preferences of adult students, which assume the satisfaction of adult students in the Internet environment. This is a study provided information on the need to include cognitive learning theory in the Internet environment. It is theoretically proved that understanding teaching methods contributes to the satisfaction of adult learners Internet environment. Recommendations for further research in the field of online adult learning are given.
