Abstract

The pedagogical practice of implementing competency-based learning involves changing approaches to the system of assessing student achievement. The article analyzes the views on the assessment of the levels of formation of subject competencies of primary school students. The results of the study of the use of test technologies to assess the ability of students to use subject knowledge and skills in practical situations are presented. Basic school, continuing the tradition of primary, is the optimal learning environment for the formation of subject competencies. That is, it is important to develop innovations at this level of education.
